| Figure 1 - Events Form |
On the right is the "Events" form. This form serves as an area to view your current events, and search for your current events as well.
Viewing Events:
As soon as the "Events" form is opened, all of your current events will be displayed in the list box directly under the "Events:" label. In the case that an event is too long to fit in the list box, a horizontal scroll bar will appear, allowing you to scroll to the right to view the rest of the information about that event. Also, if you have too many events to fit in the list box, a vertical scroll bar will appear, allowing you to scroll through all of your events.
Searching for Events:
Searching for an event works pretty much in the same way as it does in the Contacts application. To search for an event, enter in your search terms in the text box directly under the "Search Text:" label. You can enter in either the day, month (in numeric format i.e. 1 for January, 2 for February etc.), the year, the entire event name, part of the event name, the hour, or the minute of the event. All events that you have currently entered which match your search terms will be displayed in the list box directly under the "Searched Events:" label.
Adding an Event:

| Figure 2 - Add An Event Form |
To add an event, first navigate to the date on which the event will take place on the calendar on the "Events" form, and click it to highlight it. When the date of the event that you wish to add has been highlighted, click the "Add an Event" button to add an event. This will bring up the "Add an event" form. To the right of the "Date" label is the date (in month/day/year format) of the event that you will set. If you wish to change this, you can click the "Back to Date Book" button and highlight a different day. To give your event a unique identifier, type in an event name in the text box directly to the right of the "Event Name:" label. This will help you remember what event is happening on the day that you set it to. To choose the time of the event, use the combo boxes to the right of the "Time:" label to select the hour, and minute that the event will take place. Finally, click the "Add Event" button to save the event. If you wish to add another event on the same day, you can do so on the same form. If not, you can click the "Back to Date Book" button to return to the "Events" form.
Deleting an event:
Like searching for an event, deleting an event works much in the same way as it does for the Contacts application. To delete an application, scroll to it on the forms upper list box, and click it to highlight it. When you have highlighted the event you wish to delete, simply click the "Delete Event" button to delete the event.
Going back to the Home Screen:
To go back to the home screen, click the "Home" button on the events form. If you are on the "Add an Event" form, click the "Back to Date Book" form, and then click the "Home" button.
